PuckDesk wasn't built by a software company. It was built by a professional hockey coach who got tired of running the day through five different programs that didn't talk to each other.
As a coach, you're going to your GM asking for a subscription to one tool for practice planning, another for scouting, another for strength and conditioning reporting — stacking up logins and invoices that add up fast. Separate tools for each job means separate costs, and none of them talk to each other. And the ones that do exist were built for another sport entirely, with hockey bolted on as an afterthought.
So we stopped asking for more tools and built the one we actually needed. Purpose-built for hockey. Not adapted, not repurposed — built from the ice up for the way hockey staffs actually work.
PuckDesk was built by a professional coach working at the highest levels of the game — behind the bench, in the video room, and in the weight room. The perspective built into this platform comes from living every role on a coaching staff, not from the outside looking in.
